Chaturanga paddleboard style for day one (tomorrow) of #UseYourCoreandMore πŸ’™ Chaturanga is a foundational pose in vinyasa yoga and is one tough core burner, among other things! The key to alignment in this pose is to shift forward to the tips of the toes, so elbows align above the wrists when lowering down. The core and legs are fully engaged, shoulders in line with elbows or maybe slightly above, just not dipping below. Arms close to the ribs but no squeezing in for support. When doing this on the paddleboard, additional stabilizer muscles kick in. Can't wait to see your chaturangas on land or water!
