#Repost @socality ・・・ "Recently I’ve been asking myself one very important question: 'Does this have a purpose?' I've been working to ask this question in relation to everything I do. I believe it’s one of the most fundamental questions we can ask ourselves. It’s simply asking “why” am I doing this? What purpose does this action, this activity, these words, these thoughts, these decisions have? What if we lived our lives governed by purpose ahead of pleasure? This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do fun stuff. That we shouldn’t have pleasure, or shouldn’t enjoy life. Quite the opposite. All of those things are important parts of living a purposeful life, but they should never become the focal point. Fun, pleasure, joy, all of these things serve a purpose. But we could all acknowledge that there’s a big difference between the benefit and relaxation we may derive from an hour of Netflix as opposed to ten hours of Netflix. In perhaps the most distracted era in history, asking ourselves "why" we do what we do might be one of the most important questions we can ask ourselves." @jonathanzoeteman #ThisIsMyCommunity Caption and photo by @jonathanzoeteman #Socality #armorx www.armor-x.com
